FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
"Organizing"

Q. "My spare bedroom has become a store room for everything from the other areas of the house. What can I do to clean it up?"
A. Organize your spare room like a guest room, adding curtains, and a bedspread. If you need to store extra pillows, cover with shams and place on the bed. Extra blankets can be placed in storage containers under the bed. Add a desk, chair, file cabinet, and a decorative trunk for storage. Include a dresser to store off season clothing.

Q. "What should I do with my laundry room? It is always out of control."
A. Check out the new shelving units that you easily install yourself! They fit over the top of your washer and dryer and provide additional space for storing laundry supplies and essentials. Laundry sorters take up very little space and help keep laundry off the floor.

Q. "I have a very hard time throwing away old magazines and books, they are cluttering up my basement and closets. What should I do with them?"
A. Two easy solutions for magazines 1. Stand them up, you can see titles easier and they take up less space (check in office supplies they carry boxes especially for this) 2. Recycle those magazines, hospitals are happy to take magazines within the current year, be sure to remove address labels. Books may also be donated to local libraries. The best solution for books that you cannot part with is shelving units, they fit conveniently under staircases, in spare rooms, basements and offices.

Q. "My kitchen counter becomes a catch all, the paperwork is overwhelming. What do I do?"
A. Purchase a medium/large square basket that looks attractive sitting on your counter, place daily mail, school papers, coupons, etc. Once a week empty contents in appropriate areas, preferably a file cabinet, an office desk. Stacking file units and manila folders with labels work very well for holding many papers in order.

No matter how big or small the project, organizing takes time, effort and concentration. Living in an organized environment reduces stress. Efficiency saves us time and money, eliminates clutter and allows us space for fun, freedom and peace of mind.
